This Mortal Coil

Over the past few months I have had a number of family and friends shuffle off this mortal coil including this week. Their passings have brought up a range of memories, thoughts and emotions.

Memories of good times spent and of their qualities and life experiences. Thoughts of those left behind. Emotions from sadness to gratefulness for some now unburdened of the physical, emotional and spiritual pains afflicting them. Tears have been shed but there has also been laughter.

We all have a view of what happens when we die. My view, which I have had since I was a child, has been to recognise we are all energy and energy never dies - it is just transmuted. So while our physical bodies might return to the earth, our spiritual bodies or souls live on. I also believe the energy we create in this life determines what happens to our energy when we leave this mortal coil and that we reincarnate to resolve negative karmic energy or lessons we haven't learnt that we were supposed to.

Death can be very confronting regardless of your view of what happens in the hereafter and it is really important we process any related emotions in a healthy way. If we trap the trauma of a loved one's death or through facing death ourselves, this can affect us physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally, and for years and lifetimes to come.

Death is also an important remembrance of the need for love, reconciliation, forgiveness and inner peace as we go through our life journeys.

If you are struggling with any of the former, please reach out. While I am not a qualified therapist which may be what you need and I would let you know if I think that is the case, I am a qualified coach and akashic record guide and can support you release and realign your energy.

Thanks to Sukul Avindra Nath for today's artwork. 💖💫🌅
